
Joel Embiid’s dominant performance against the Charlotte Hornets extends 30+ point streak to 20-straight games
The Philadelphia 76ers wrapped up a quick two-game road trip last night against the Charlotte Hornets, winning 97-89 on the second night of a back-to-back.
Joel Embiid naturally led the way for the Sixers with a dominant 33 point, 10 rebound, and 5 assist performance. His 30+ point effort was the 20th consecutive game where he reached that mark.

Embiid now joins Wilt Chamberlain (4x) and James Harden (1x) as the only players in NBA History to record 30+ points in 20 or more games in a row, marking the sixth instance in NBA History with such streak.
Tyrese Maxey added 16 points, 8 assists, and three rebounds, while Tobias Harris poured in 21 points with six assists and five rebounds. Danuel House Jr provided a spark off the bench, scoring nine points to go along with 3 rebounds, a steal, and a block.

Friday Night Rewind: Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey dominate Orlando Magic
On Friday night, the 76ers dominated the Orlando Magic in a 124-109 victory led by two strong performances from Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
Embiid scored 36 points on 12-of-22 shooting from the floor with seven rebounds and four steals. Maxey scored 32 points on 10-of-20 shooting with five assists.
Embiid and Maxey broke a 58-year-old franchise record, both scoring 30+ points in the win. It was the eighth time this season the duo scored 30+ points passing Wilt Chamberlain and Hal Greer, who went over 30 together seven times during the 1965-66 season.

Embiid scored 28 points at HALFTIME against the Magic on 10-of-14 shooting from the floor while handing the game over to Maxey in the second half. Reese scored 7 of his 15 second half points to keep Embiid on the bench for the final frame.
Following two weekend wins on the road, the Sixers improved to 28-13 on the season and are now winners of five straight games. They are just a half game behind the second place Milwaukee Bucks and 3.5 games behind the first place Boston Celtics.
