Chad Johnson jokes about joining Raiders coaching staff, which means there’s still a chance he comes to Philly
A few weeks back, Chad Johnson took to social media to publicly ask the Philadelphia Eagles to join their coaching staff. Unfortunately, Ocho hasn’t gotten the call (yet).
And for a second, it looked like the former All-Pro wideout may be off the market. On Wednesday, he went on IG Live with Antonio Pierce, the new Raiders head coach, saying, “Yes, I got a job with the Raiders. Not as a staff member but as a member of the organization. I’m not sure what it is exactly … but I will be a part of the team and that’s an amazing thing.”
He later said he was just joking around, which was pretty obvious to anyone who’s followed Ochocinco on Twitter.
Chad Johnson was just joking guys it’s OK

The most important thing to come out of this is that Chad Johnson still has a chance to get hired by the Eagles.
I don’t really know if the guy actually wants to coach – seems like he’s got a pretty good thing going on with his podcast and his other ventures in the sports media world. Nevertheless, if Ocho wants to come to Philly and coach our wide receivers, who are we to deny him that? We’re obligated to let him coach. We owe him that for how much love he’s shown this city over the past few years.
After he admitted he to his little Raiders stunt, he threw some more love to Philly just for good measure on his Twitter.
I really hope he eventually joins the Eagles staff. It’s my only wish for the offseason.
