Patrick Beverley takes aim at Kyle Lowry, 76ers ahead of return to Philadelphia
Milwaukee guard and known rat Patrick Beverley made it clear that he is far from over his unceremonious breakup with the Philadelphia 76ers. For those with a short memory, the organization traded Rat Bev to the Bucks for Cam Payne at the trade deadline and signed Kyle Lowry from the buyout market shortly after that.
Patrick Beverley said he’ll be, “on Kyle’s ass” when they play Philly on Feb. 25:
“Man I’m on Kyle [Lowry’s] ass when we play Philly. Straight up. That’s just how it go, like how dare you?”

First of all, pause.
Second of all, this has to be the most one-sided beef we’ve seen in the NBA in quite some time. I get the wound is still fresh, but this obsession is a little bit cringe at this point.
And, look, I get it. He’s a role player with a podcast, he’s got to drum up interactions somehow. I relate to him on that front considering I’m writing this hoping someone will click and read the dumb shit I have to say.
Also, the wording feels a little too intentional to me. Kyle Lowry is known to have the fattest ass in the NBA (though Zion Williamson appears to be the heir-apparent) and it’s clear Patrick Beverley is looking forward to being all over it up close and personal on Feb. 25.
In the end, Rat Bev is right, Nick Nurse got his guy. He also now has a guy who can run something that remotely resembles a good offense with the bench unit. Something to consider.
It’s sad. He was one of Philadelphia’s favorite sons, and a few weeks later, he’s nothing more than a rat.

This is a pretty cringe read my guy. Morey is a snake everybody knows it.
