Grier was originally drafted by the Panthers in 2019 and spent two seasons (2021, 2022) with OC Kellen Moore and QBs coach Doug Nussmeier in Dallas.
His only playing time came during the 2019 season.
Will Grier Career Stats
- 0-2 record
- 53.8% comp.
- 228 yards
- 0 TD, 4 INT
- 33.2 rating
Grier re-joined his former coaches last year when the Chargers signed him off New England’s practice squad.
He’ll now join a quarterback room that includes entrenched starter Jalen Hurts, newly acquired Kenny Pickett, and second-year player Tanner McKee.
Bringing in a QB with knowledge of Moore’s system could prove beneficial during OTAs and training camp.
