76ers Rumors: Joel Embiid’s return date potentially revealed
Joel Embiid’s long-awaited return to the 76ers could finally be arriving.
According to ESPN’s latest injury report, Embiid’s estimated return date is Tuesday, Apr. 2, against Oklahoma City.

Embiid has been out of action since Jan. 30 and underwent surgery on Feb. 6 to repair the lateral meniscus of his left knee.
On Wednesday, 76ers head coach Nick Nurse stated he is optimistic Embiid will be back before the end of the regular season.
“I think there is a very good likelihood that he will return before the play-in playoff,” said Nurse.
Embiid, who turned 30 two weeks ago, was putting together another MVP campaign before the injury, averaging 35.3 points, 11.2 rebounds, 5.7 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game.
The 76ers have been leaking oil without him, compiling a 13-26 record in Embiid’s absence.
Currently sitting as the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference, Philly can’t get their All-Star back soon enough if they hope to avoid the play-in tournament.

He was in today’s practice, which was a light one. Still no exact/firm timeline to offer.
