WATCH: Luka Doncic drains insane trick shot during warmups, follows with 47-point game against the Houston Rockets

The Dallas Mavericks official Twitter account posted a video of Luka Doncic making an insane trick shot ahead of their game against the Houston Rockets last night. 

Doncic managed toss the ball straight up into the air, baking it off the JumboTron at the Toyota Center directly into the basket.

Side Note: “He done did it, IYKYK” might be the corniest caption ever but whatever. 

Also to answer the replies on the Tweet, there’s no sound probably because the Dallas Mavericks don’t have licensing rights to whatever music is playing during warmups. You’re welcome. 

Pretty ridiculous trick shot from Doncic. It’s like he’s trying to revamp the old McDonalds “Nothing But Net” videos with Michael Jordan and Larry Bird. 

What makes it even more crazy as that Luka Doncic is out there making absurd trick shots during warmups and then scoring 47 points with 12 rebounds and seven assists, leading the Mavericks over the Houston Rockets 125-107 – marking the seventh straight win for the Mavs.

On the season, Doncic is averaging 34 points, 9.8 assists, and 9.1 rebounds over 65 games this season. Entering the weekend, Doncic moved up in the official NBA MVP Ladder, passing Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to take hold of the No. 2 spot, trailing only Nikola Jokic.

With just eight games left in the regular season, the Mavericks remain locked in to the fifth seed in the Western Conference Standings tied with the New Orleans Pelicans.
