A favorable schedule and elite pitching guide the Phillies to an 8-2 homestand
The Philadelphia Phillies went 8-2 on their 10-game homestead and have now won six straight games after sweeping both the Colorado Rockies and the Chicago White Sox.
Trust me, the Rockies and White Sox are pretty freaking horrible – in fact, they are the two worst teams in Major League Baseball. Colorado did manage to win yesterday and are now 5-16 on the season, while the White Sox are 3-18 on the year with a historically bad run differential (-71).
At the same time, you can’t take beating bad baseball teams for granted.
The Phillies are now 14-8 on the season, 8-2 over their last 10 games, and have won six straight – kicking off a 10-game road trip tonight in Cincinnati.Â

Up Next for the Phillies
Bryce Harper will head to the paternity list, missing the start of a 10-game road trip for the Phillies – which begins tonight in Cincinnati against the Reds.
Much like the rest of the Philadelphia Phillies lineup, Harper started the 2024 season ice cold but has returned to norm ever since he crushed three home runs against the Reds on April 2nd.
Since that game, Harper is batting .279 with four homers, 14 RBI and an .874 OPS. He’s now batting .241 with 4 home runs and a .773 OPS.
