Anthony Edwards Kevin Durant Slam Dunk

WATCH: Anthony Edwards broke the internet last night after his tomahawk slam dunk over Kevin Durant went viral

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before, but Anthony Edwards nearly broke the internet last night as the Minnesota Timberwolves completed a first-round sweep of the Phoenix Suns, winning Game 4 by a final score of 122-116.

Edwards was yet again was a highlight machine against the Suns finishing with 40 points, nine rebounds, six assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 13/23 from the field and 7/13 from the three-point range in 41 minutes of playing time.

With just over two minutes remaining in the game, Edwards set the internet ablaze, going viral after completing a tomahawk dunk over his favorite player, Kevin Durant.

“ANTHONY EDWARDS ARE YOU SERIOUS 🤯🤯🤯”

Edwards then put the final nail in the Phoenix Suns’ coffin by slam-dunking the last points of the game (and series) with 20 seconds remaining.

The Phoenix Suns “Big 3” didn’t really work out to what they were expecting this season. In Game 4 specifically, Durant and Devin Booker combined for 82 points but were the only players that scored in double figures. Bradley Beal, the third member of what was supposed to be a dominant Suns’ trio, finished the night with just nine points on 4-of-13 shooting from the floor.

The Timberwolves sweep of the Phoenix Suns has them primed to take on the winner of the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets series.
