WATCH: Bobby Portis ejected for stupid scuffle with Pacers during Game 4

The Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana Pacers squared off in Game 4 of their series on Sunday. An already chippy series erupted into fisticuffs in the first half, and saw Bobby Portis ejected, which was a huge loss for the already banged up Bucks.

Andrew Nembhard baited Bobby Portis into a scuffle after the whistle, resulting in an ejection for only one of the two:

Already down Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks needed key role players to step up. Sadly for them, the guy fans were expecting to come up big wound up getting his ass tossed early in the game.

I definitely think Nembhard should’ve been ejected as well, but in all honesty, there shouldn’t have been any ejections at all. It’s early in a playoff game, give them both a technical foul and tell them to clean it up.

Of course, what I think doesn’t matter to the NBA, and rules are rules. This was an inexcusable mental error from Portis, who has been around the league long enough to know you can’t swing at a guy. Hell, he learned that lesson firsthand after socking Nikola Mirotic when he played for Chicago.

Instead, Bobby Portis had to make the walk of shame back to the locker room and the Bucks inevitably lost 126-113 to go 3-1 down in the series.
