76ers tickets game 6

Not Good Enough: Josh Harris, David Blitzer, and David Adelman, alongside Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin attempt ‘cheap’ PR stunt in purchasing 2,000 76ers tickets for fans tomorrow night

Need 76ers tickets for Game 6? Well, here’s a story for you. Last night after the Philadelphia 76ers pulled off a near-impossible comeback against the New York Knicks to force a Game 6 in Philly tomorrow night, rapper/actor Dave aka Lil Dicky took to twitter to demand that season ticket holders attend the game and NOT sell them on the secondary market.

That was fine – but I found it important to point out that Dave wasn’t in Philadelphia for any playoff games this year and that he should man-up and take a flight home instead of tweeting from Los Angeles while attending Lakers playoff games.

Dave replied to my tweet saying that he lives in Los Angeles and not in Philadelphia.

No shit Dave? That was the point of the entire tweet.

That prompted my reply telling Dave that there’s no hard feelings and we simply wanted him to be in Philly tomorrow night for Game 6 rather than tweeting about other Sixers fans selling their tickets. I also added that Dave still holds the best freestyle on Sway in the Morning – which I believe to be true as well.

From there – the rats came out and started questioning my reply to Dave, saying the “switch up was crazy” and that the reply “didn’t stand on business”.

As usual, Twitter is completely wrong and these morons lack basic comprehension skills. That being said, I’m a man of the people and will happily clarify for those who have trouble using their brains.

I “stand on business” in saying that Philadelphia 76ers fans should be attending games and doing everything possible to prevent New York Knicks fans from “taking over” the Wells Fargo Center tomorrow night.

Instead of tweeting about it, known Sixers fan, Dave – also known as Lil Dicky, should be in Philadelphia rather than in Los Angeles attending Lakers playoff games. Thankfully, there some people left on social media that understand what I was saying.

It’s a pretty simple concept that apparently the common man is failing to grasp, right?

This morning, I wrote an article stating that Philadelphia sports athletes, celebrities, the 76ers organization, and other businesses should be teaming up to purchase as many Philadelphia 76ers tickets as possible and what do you know? That’s exactly what’s going to happen – although on a way lesser scale than what’s needed.

According to Philadelphia 76ers:

“76ers ownership Josh Harris, David Blitzer, and David Adelman, alongside Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, are teaming up to purchase and distribute more than 2,000 tickets to Sixers fans to Game 6. The tickets will be distributed to first responders, health care professionals, community groups, and other local Philadelphia-based organizations to harness the intensity and excitement for tomorrow’s crucial showdown with the New York Knicks.”

OH WAIT! In addition – they will be offering Brickin’ For Chicken for the 1ST AND 2ND HALF. OHHHH GOT WHAT A PROMOTION. THANK YOU SO MUCH. THIS REALLY CHANGES EVERYTHING.

On Second Thought:

2,000 76ers tickets from Josh Harris, David Blitzer, and David Adelman, alongside Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin is honestly INSULTING.

What a load of shit by a bunch of billionaires. This isn’t helping in the slightest and is nothing more than a CHEAP PR STINT and shouldn’t be celebrated at all. Any ticket on the secondary market is $500+ and even the tickets sold are expensive as hell.

If the Sixers were serious about this instead of just grabbing headlines, they would purchase all of the tickets off secondary market websites and then give them away for free with anyone that has a verifiable home address in the Delaware Valley.

It does however, bring me back to my initial point with DAVE who should be leading the charge in getting ACTUAL 76ERS FANS (including himself) to Philadelphia tomorrow night.

Why does everything have to be so difficult with the 76ers? I have no clue and because of that, we’ll have to go back to the watering hole and assume it starts at the top with ownership.
