Kody Clemens Bryce Harper home runs

WATCH: Kody Clemens smokes home run with Bryce Harper’s bat, who later hits a grand slam in the 4th inning

The Philadelphia Phillies are the hottest team in baseball, and there’s no denying that. The Fightins hung 10 runs on the Blue Jays on Tuesday night, and did it with a lineup some fans found questionable when released.

Even so, the Phils absolutely eviscerated Toronto (it was a rough week for Drake) and Jose Berrios, who led MLB in ERA before setting foot in Citizens Bank Park. It was an electric offensive performance from stars and role players alike.

Bryce Harper lent Kody Clemens his bat, and fireworks ensued, with Clemens homering for the second time in as many games:

At this point, I think Harper might actually be a god. If not, he’s some sort of wizard or warlock at the very least.

He imbued his bat with his magic powers. Even the swing looked Harper-esque. I had just gotten home from work and wasn’t really paying attention while cheffing up some Czerw’s pierogi, so that might have something to do with that assessment.

But still… spooky stuff, man.

Of course, Bryce wouldn’t dare be left out of the action, launching a nuke himself in the fourth inning with a grand slam. It was the third game in a row in which he went yard, just in case Clemens started to think he was hot shit.

Like I said, this dude is a wizard. It wasn’t with the same bat as Clemens, but he doesn’t need a magic whacking stick. He is the magic.

Clemens actually continued on his heater, hitting a triple in the same inning and driving in more runs later in the game. It was a career day without a doubt. Maybe Harper will let him keep the bat?

Anyway, here’s another angle of that Harper grand slam. Pure cinema.

Very real and legitimate journalist. I don't see a loss on the schedule.
