WATCH: Mike Malone storms court, goes ballistic on NBA Official, somehow doesn’t get a technical

Denver Nuggets head coach Mike Malone was HEATED on Monday night following a couple “non-calls” during Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves. 

Anthony Edwards who along with Karl-Anthony Towns scored 27 points in the 106-80 route of the Nuggets, put the T-Wolves up 22-17 with 3:21 left to play in the first quarter. 

Malone called a timeout following Edwards’ layup and once play stopped, he went full-psycho mode, running out onto the court and screaming directly into NBA official Marc Davis’ face.

Obviously, anyone watching through that Malone was going to be ejected from the game but surprisingly, that didn’t happen and he was allowed to return to the Nuggets bench. 

Why? I have no idea. NBA officiating and the calls they make remain one of the greatest mysteries in the world.

I think I speak for all NBA fans saying that we’re just looking for calls to make sense, right? At the very least, some consistency in what happens during the playoffs. 

The Timberwolves and Nuggets weren’t the only victims of bizarre officiating. Back East, the New York Knicks and Indiana Pacers first game was riddled with bad officiating.
