Scott Hartnell caught some unwanted attention for sitting at Citizens Bank Park alone during Phillies game Wednesday afternoon

Flyers legend and TV analyst Scott Hartnell caught some unwanted attention yesterday after the NBC Sports Philadelphia broadcast of the Phillies game found him sitting alone in the stands at Citizens Bank Park.

The video was posted all over social media and Hartsy’s response to Amy Fadool was valid. What exactly is he supposed to be doing?

NHL offseason. Too cold to hit up the Ocean Drive in Sea Isle City. Might as well spend a Wednesday afternoon catching the Phillies play at The Bank, right? 

Hartnell showed up ready to rock too, wearing Bryce Harper’s signature headband, a pair of shades, and what appears to be an ice a cold Bud Light.

I’m not sure what anyone else was expecting either, ya know? My man is out there enjoying life – something everyone should be doing more often. 

Also happy to inform you that Hartnell wasn’t alone the entire time. Later pictures post online show Cam Atkinson and his family joining Hartsy for the game.

Scott Hartnell played seven seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers, notching 157 goals and 169 assists in 517 games played. Back in 2021, he joined NBC Sports Philadelphia and now works as an analyst for pre, post, and in-game segments, while also occasionally filling in as a color commentator on the broadcasts.
