Jason Kelce has been in Eagles building ‘almost every day’ since retiring

Future HOF center Jason Kelce has remained adamant about staying retired, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be involved with the organization moving forward.

In a recent interview on NFL Total Access, Eagles kicker Jake Elliott stated that Kelce has been at the facility nearly every day since retiring.

“It’s always gonna be impossible to replace guys like [Jason] Kelce and Fletcher [Cox], we’re definitely sad to see them go. The breadcrumbs that they left behind and the leadership roles that they’ve passed on to the other guys, you see little hints of them throughout the locker room now.

They’ve made a huge impact that’s gonna last a long time. Those guys aren’t gonna be far. I know Kelce has been in the building almost every day already. They’re always gonna be a big part of our organization.”

When asked about any conversations about Kelce potentially unretiring, Elliott noted it isn’t his place to ask.

The six-time All-Pro called it a career after 13 years with the Eagles and has multiple media commitments on his plate, including a gig with ESPN.

We can’t blame Kelce if he’s considered returning for one more run, especially with Saquon Barkley now in Philadelphia.

As of now, third-year player Cam Jurgens is expected to succeed Kelce at center.
