Scottie Scheffler Arrested PGA Championship

Scottie Scheffler arrest video, charges, and more from a WILD morning outside Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky

To say the very least, it has been a bizarre and tragic Friday morning in Louisville, Kentucky ahead of Round 2 from the PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Golf. The World No. 1 Golfer, Scottie Scheffler, has been detained and arrested following an incident with local police this morning after attempting to get to the golf course.

The second round of the PGA Championship was delayed after a pedestrian was struck and killed near the entrance to Valhalla. According to the Louisville Courier-Journal, an adult male was crossing a road and struck by a shuttle bus and pronounced dead at the scene, per Louisville Metro Police.

In an unrelated incident just hours before his second-round tee time, Scottie Scheffler was handcuffed and detained by police after a “traffic incident” near the entrance to Valhalla.

ESPN reporter Jeff Darlington witnessed the entire scene, saying it was “a misunderstanding with traffic flow led to his attempt to drive past a police officer” into the course.

“The police officer then began to scream at Scheffler to get out of the car,” Darlington said in a post on Twitter. “When Scheffler exited the vehicle, the officer shoved Scheffler against the car and immediately placed him in handcuffs. He is now being detained in the back of a police car.” [ESPN]

Well, I guess there’s only one way to stop Scottie Scheffler and that’s a cop abusing his power?

I understand it was a serious situation with the fatal accident, but for a cop to not understand that there was clearly some confusion with Scottie Scheffler, the World No. 1 Golfer, trying to get to the course is insane.

Could you imagine working at the station and this cop comes in with Scottie fucking Scheffler in cuffs? That would be absolutely insane.
