Pain: TJ McConnell destroyed the New York Knicks off the bench, advances to Eastern Conference Finals with Pacers – a mark that almost everyone from the ‘Process’ 76ers has yet to reach

TJ McConnell and the Indiana Pacers knocked the New York Knicks out of the playoffs last night, with a 130-109 victory in Game 7 at Madison Square Garden. 

Former ‘Process’ 76ers’ guard TJ McConnell was effective for the Indiana Pacers throughout the second-round series against the New York Knicks. He averaged 12 points, 6 assists, 2 rebounds and a steal off the bench while shooting 50% or better in 5 of the 7 games.

McConnell also became the FIRST bench player in NBA HISTORY to record 40 or more assists with 10 or fewer turnovers in a single playoff series.

Taking a look at the list of “Process 76ers” that have made it to the Conference Finals, McConnell now joins a small, depressing list of players that only includes Dario Saric (Phoenix), Jerami Grant (Denver), and Nik Stauskas (Boston) as the only players to reach that mark.

The point being made here is the fact that Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Markelle Fultz, Jahlil Okafor, and all of the other players from “The Process” haven’t reached this feat while TJ McConnell is making national headlines for destroying the New York Knicks off the bench.
