Charles Barkley returned to Minnesota last night wearing the perfect hat for Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals

Last Sunday, Anthony Edwards told Charles Barkley to “bring his ass” to Minnesota for the Western Conference Finals series between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Dallas Mavericks.

The quote went viral across social media. There were several restaurants, bars, and other places in Minnesota that immediately took the quote from Edwards and used it for promotional purposes.

Hell, even “Explore Minnesota” used it as a tagline for tourism.

Last night, Chuck was in the building wearing the perfect hat for the occasion. 

Charles Barkley showed up to Minnesota with the perfect hat last night. He recorded a video for the NBA on TNT and was wearing a white hat with the quote “Bring Yo Ass” on the front of it.

Maybe it’s just me, but I always like a good use of “Minute Merch” to capitalize on something that was done or said as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, having Chuck and company in the building for Game 1 against the Mavericks didn’t work in the T-Wolves’ favor. They dropped Game 1 to Dallas by a final score of 108-105.  Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 63 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds in the win. Anthony Edwards scored just 19 points to go along with 11 rebounds and eight assists.
