Long Live Fulghamania: Former Eagles WR catches his first TD in Canadian Football League
WR Travis Fulgham has been out of the NFL since 2021, but he is continuing his career in the Canadian Football League as a member of the BC Lions.
During the CFL’s kickoff weekend, Fulgham logged his first catch on a 50-yard touchdown strike in the second quarter.

Before star receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith landed in Philadelphia, the Eagles were in a dark place at the position. Travis Fulgham, albeit only for a five-week span, provided a glimmer of hope during an otherwise miserable season.
Fulgham during Weeks 4-8 in 2020
- 29 receptions
- 435 receiving yards
- 15.0 yards/catch
- 4 TDs
Fulgham led the NFL in receiving yards during that time before losing snaps once Alshon Jeffery returned from injury. He finished the season as the Eagles’ leading receiver with 539 yards.
The Old Dominion product had a lackluster training camp the following summer, and a costly fumble in the final preseason game all but sealed his fate, resulting in his release.
It’s good to see Fulgham still playing football, we will always remember when Fulghamania ran wild in Philadelphia.
