No More Kelly Green: Darius Slay says Eagles are not using throwback uniforms in 2024

Well, it was fun while it lasted. After wearing the fan favorite Kelly Green uniforms for two games last season, the Philadelphia Eagles are not bringing them back for an encore this season, according to Darius Slay.

On the most recent episode of the “Pulp Phiction” podcast, Slay revealed that the team will not dawn the throwback uni’s this year — despite the fact that they’re Slay’s favorite jersey.

No idea why the Eagles decided to not bring back the Kelly Green uniforms again. They were clearly a fan favorite and after hearing Slay talk about them, it’s pretty obvious the players loved them too.

Maybe they’ll surprise us and bring them back randomly throughout the year. At least a man can hope.
