8-year-old Phillies fan with diabetes surprised with tickets to London Series, has the time of his life
How can you not be romantic about baseball? This is a question I often find myself asking, but this moment with an 8-year-old Phillies fan with diabetes going to the London Series confirmed it’s impossible not to be.
British Phillies fan Mason was surprised with tickets to see his favorite team play, and he had an absolute blast:

Hell yeah, dude. This kid rocks.
It’s awesome to see baseball spread across the pond like this, especially when it’s creating diehard Phillies fans in a place like Hoddesdon. It’s not often you hear the name Trea Turner in a British accent, so that’s pretty cool, too.
It’s even better to see this kid live out a dream scenario, getting to go on the field and meet all of his favorite players. Being the classy guys the Phillies are, they greeted him warmly and really made it a special day for the fella.
