Watch: Cincinnati Reds Fan runs onto field, pulls off incredible back flip, before a hilarious taser takedown at Great American Ballpark
A Reds fan might have pulled off the best run onto a baseball field that the world has ever witnessed last night at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio.
With Cincy down 5-2 in the top of the ninth inning, a Reds fan decided to take matters into his own hands. In what I’m going to consider an honest attempt to spark a rally, he ran onto the field and tried to dap-up Guardians center fielder Tyler Freeman.
Note: Check out hard-ass Tyler Freeman refusing to dap up this Reds fan. I understand that it’s an opposing fanbase and you don’t want to risk looking like a complete loser (St. Louis Cardinals Fans) but you have to give the kid his props here. Bad move. Bad visual.
The dap attempt obviously failed but that didn’t stop the Reds fan from continuing to find open grass and doing a backflip before his run of glory ended at the hands of a police taser.
Security finally caught up to the fan mid-flip and but the wild dog down by hitting him with taser darts while he was still in the air. The fan attempted to escape but the electricity running through his body was too much as he was ultimately apprehended.
Reds Fan Back Flip, Taser Takedown at Great American Ballpark
The backflip was immaculate. I’m not sure if this guy has any plans next month but I think America would be stupid to not consider him as a member of Team USA gymnastics squad in the Paris Olympics.
He stormed the Great American Ballpark with ice in his veins, pulling off a backflip in the process? You’re going to tell me he would let this country down on the world’s biggest stage? Doubtful.
Even the judge was impressed at the arraignment this morning:
Before William Hendon was shocked by a Taser and arrested by Cincinnati police while on the field at Great American Ball Park during a Cincinnati Reds game Tuesday night, he did a backflip.
“Everybody thinks you landed that backflip,” Municipal Court Judge William Mallory said during Hendon’s arraignment Wednesday morning.
“I’m pretty sure I did,” said Hendon, who appeared in court still wearing a Reds jersey. [Quinlan Bentley at Cincinnati.com]
Is the Back Flip Taser enough to take down Phillies Taser Legend?
