Eagles Hype: Jalen Hurts taking ownership and working with Kellen Moore to improve the new offense
The Philadelphia Eagles have been in the “lab” to improve upon the offense last year and implement some of Kellen Moore’s principles.
This should be music to all Eagles fan’s ears as we head into training camp for a huge year ahead. It’s no secret how stale the offense became last season down the stretch, leading to a disappointing end to the once-promising season.
Jalen Hurts and Co. working on Eagles new offense
“I'm told the Eagles have spent a lot of time this offseason taking the old offense, Nick Sirianni's system last year that Jalen Hurts is used to, mixing it with Kellen Moore's principles, put it all in a pot with some gumbo and seeing what works and what Jalen Hurts is… pic.twitter.com/CRUQbKUCw9

While I’m sure there will be a lot of fans who are not happy hearing about Nick Sirianni’s concepts being a part of this “new” offense. However, it should be something taken with a grain of salt because Hurts did mention not too long ahead that this offense is almost entirely new.
What matters here is that our franchise quarterback is taking more of a leadership role and has his fingerprints on things, which is exactly what you should want from your signal-caller. Not to mention how much of an improvement it is to have Kellen Moore as the play-caller.
