Frame It: This Paul George picture is a work of art
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. This photo of Paul George, moments after signing with the Philadelphia 76ers, may be worth ten thousand words.
Paul George, the Sixers brass, and of course, Dr. J for good measure

Where do we even begin with this?
I guess the most logical place to go is the no shoes. I must say, I fully respect PG’s decision to make everyone remove their shoes in his house. His house, his rules. There’s just something hilarious about making a bunch of billionaires take their shoes before coming into your house. It’s a power play from Paul George, he’s asserting his dominance over them. Again, can’t help but respect that.
Then we have the most random addition to the photo, Julius Erving. Is he the guy the Sixers bring out whenever they want to get a major deal done? I can’t remember Dr. J ever being ‘that guy’ for the 76ers. Could be wrong, who knows.
The best part about his inclusion — that one of a kind shirt he’s rocking. I’m mesmerized by it. Is he trying to party? Is this just something he didn’t think twice about before he put it on? Is it his favorite shirt? Maybe there’s some sort of message to it, maybe there isn’t. But god dammit I need to know.
Looking to the left of George we have the Sixers management team. Of course, there’s Josh Harris’ gremlin ass, wearing GoldToe socks like the dork he is. Daryl Morey is to the left of Harris, wearing his infamous closer jacket. He knew the deal was getting done and had to dress for the occasion. Then finally, we have Elton Brand in the back, trying his best to feel like part of the group. Kind of symbolic of his role with the Sixers — love some good, subtle symbolism.
I could keep going on this picture, but I’ll leave it there. It’s worth printing and framing, in my opinion. If Paul George’s tenure in Philly goes the way we all want it to go, I don’t think we have a choice but to memorialize this photo.
