Trea Turner grand slam

WATCH: Phillies fans go crazy for Trea Turner’s grand slam in the 4th inning (with no commentary)

There are few things more beautiful than Phillies home run clips without commentary. A contender for best pop of the regular season came this week after Trea Turner hit a grand slam against the Dodgers.

Phillies fans damn near broke the stadium microphones when they realized Trea Turner’s grand slam was over the wall:

No offense to TMac and Kruk, but nothing hits quite like highlights with just the fan reaction in the background. It’s what going to the ballpark is all about.

On my first watch, I was already impressed with the initial pop. But I was I was genuinely blown away by the second pop. Thank god I wasn’t wearing headphones watching this clip.

It was the peak of an incredible night for the Phillies. Bryson Stott followed up Trea Turner with a solo shot of his own in the RAV 4th inning. Marsh tacked one on later in the game. There’s nothing quite like hanging double-digit runs on the Dodgers.

This video is yet another piece of evidence that Phillies fans are truly the best in the sport. Even if we are a bit dumb sometimes.

Very real and legitimate journalist. I don't see a loss on the schedule.
