Alec Bohm lights up Home Run Derby after sipping from “wooder” jug courtesy of Bryce Harper in Round 1

Alec Bohm was the Phillies representative for the Home Run Derby this year. The RBI machine hasn’t exactly made his bones with the long ball this season, but he definitely has the pop to compete. Unfortunately, he was off to a slow start in Round 1 and needed a pick-me-up.

Philly guy Bryce Harper knew exactly what Alec Bohm needed during his timeout to get his mind right, presenting his teammate with a special “Wooder” jug:

Anyone will tell you hydration is key. Bohm is a shining example of that, considering he went on to hit 17 home runs after sipping from what appears to be a jug imbued with some sort of South Philly magic.

Clearly, the wooder jug was well known throughout the Phillies clubhouse. Bryson Stott saw Bohm’s slow start and immediately demanded they “BRING THE JUG OUT” on Twitter.

His prayers were answered, and his fellow infielder went on to mash baseballs like crazy. Some are saying there were fast-acting PEDs in that wooder, but I disagree.

Bryce Harper’s pandering is just too powerful, plain and simple. He gave Alec some of Bohm’s Secret Stuff, and the rest is history.
