NFL Hall of Famer says he’d love to play with Eagles QB Jalen Hurts
Hall of Fame WR Terrell Owens was nothing short of polarizing during his playing days, but he was also one of the greatest talents ever at his position.
Owens spent time with five teams throughout his career, playing with his fair share of quarterbacks at each destination, including Steve Young, Jeff Garcia, Donovan McNabb, and Tony Romo.
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Owens was asked which quarterback in today’s NFL would’ve liked to play with. Among his answers: current Eagles starter Jalen Hurts.

“I mean, there’s a lot of great quarterbacks. Mahomes is a no-brainer. I like the poise; I like the demeanor of Jalen Hurts.“
Owens knows a good quarterback when he sees one and listing Hurts by name is high praise, regardless of what NFL executives may believe.
The five-time All-Pro receiver had a short but memorable stint with the Eagles in 2004-2005. In just 21 games, he caught 124 passes for 1,963 yards and 20 TDs. He helped the Eagles solidify themselves as NFC contenders, culminating in a Super Bowl 39 appearance.
Off-the-field theatrics and friction with then-franchise QB Donovan McNabb led to his release in 2006.
Even at 50 years old, Owens looks like he could still put up numbers today. Owens is ranked third on the NFL’s all-time receiving list with 15,934 yards, behind only Jerry Rice and Larry Fitzgerald.
