Social Media went CRAZY as Kevin Durant caught fire in the first half for Team USA against Serbia

After sitting out all of Team USA training camp and exhibition games with a calf injury, Kevin Durant was cleared to play today against the first group match against Serbia. 

Durant came off the bench for Team USA and immediately caught fire, draining two shots from beyond the arc to give him six points in the first quarter.

He wasn’t finished. KD exploded in the second quarter, scoring 15 of Team USA’s 33 points.

He finished the first half without missing a single shot, shooting a perfect 8-8 from the field (5-5 from three) including a buzzer-beating two-point fadeaway to end the half.

Team USA is currently leading Serbia 86-68 with just over seven minutes left in the game. Durant proved to be human by missing a junper, bringing his box score to 8/9 shooting and 5/5 from three for 23 points.
