Mikey Miss returns to 97.5 The Fanatic, joins The Liberty Line in trashing Howard Eskin, Joe Giglio, and Spike Eskin

Mikey Miss, known to the common folk as Mike Missanelli, made his triumphant return to Philly Sports Talk Radio today on 97.5 The Fanatic and immediately started trashing 94.1 WIP and their hosts, Joe Giglio, Howard Eskin, and Spike Eskin – joining The Liberty Line yet again in their war against “traditional media.”

Okay Mikey Miss. Cooking with GAS right out of the gates. I can respect that. I absolutely hate whatever nonsense Joe Giglio is saying and 97.5 has been an absolute graveyard on my morning commute during the 10AM hour. In fact, I actually write about how bad Joe Giglio is on a weekly basis here at The Liberty Line.

Throwing in a quick shot at Howard Eskin was a nice touch and for icing on the cake, he ripped off an accountability line for Howard’s son, Spike.

What? Mikey Miss isn’t familiar with The Liberty Line?

Not so fast. He definitely is…or was…until he blocked every single one of us after an argument unfolded on Twitter a few years ago.

Mikey Miss and his crew got extremely upset with us after we made a (joke) accusation that he stole Ryan Conway’s idea in hosting a cooking show titled “Cooking Papa.”

Conway posted a bunch of photoshopped images of the 97.5 Fanatic studio with the Cooking Papa livestream on the monitors and Mikey Miss cried like a baby.

He blocked everyone at TLL but of course, history will always be retweeted. His separate Twitter account that had something to do with Mike Miss Ventures got in a heated back-and-forth about the pictures being photoshopped (they obviously were) and how Mikey Miss wanted to have a cooking show for years.

The entire thing was ridiculous and ended up with a whole lot of blocks on Twitter paired with an iconic “Grow Up Skip” from Mike himself.

Anyways, I’m actually happy that Mike Missanelli is returning to the airwaves. Even though he’s a grumpy old liberal snowflake that cries about Trump on social media and is constantly breaking the cardinal rule of keeping politics away from sports, he’s a good on-air talent for 97.5 The Fanatic, a station that desperately needs someone, anyone, in their quest for relevancy in the 94.1 WIP Hot Take Machine market.
