I’m not going to sit here and say that he’s the key to a deep playoff run and potential World Series, but roleplayers are without a doubt an important part of a championship roster.
Yes, the Phillies need their top guys to stay hot to win it all, but they can’t win every game on their own. If they get on base, someone needs to bring them home, and Clemens has the stones to get the job done.
Also, the Braves lost tonight. So Kody secured a two-game swing in the standings with a clutch swing of the bat and had the Bank rocking.
