Roster Moves: Eagles lose rookie center to Rams, former CB signs with Jaguars
The Eagles are losing their sixth-round pick of the 2024 draft.
According to his agent, Whitney Holtzman, rookie center Dylan McMahon is leaving the Eagles’ practice squad to sign with the Rams’ active roster.

With the Eagles not having a true backup center behind Cam Jurgens, most had McMahon penciled in to crack the 53-man roster after a strong summer. As an undersized, athletic center, McMahon fit the mold of players the Eagles like at that position.
The No. 190 overall pick failed to make the cut, but passed through waivers and signed with Philadelphia’s practice squad. Several Rams’ offensive linemen suffered injuries in their overtime loss to the Lions; McMahon will help fill the void.
Former Eagles CB Zech McPhearson has also found a new home, landing on the Jaguars practice squad. McPhearson, a 2021 fourth-round pick, was among final roster cuts in a crowded cornerback room.
