Derek Carr Fined

Derek Carr rightfully fined for the horrendous dance moves that left Michael Jackson rolling in his grave during Week 2 against the Cowboys

The New Orleans Saints absolutely dominated the Dallas Cowboys last week, making a bold statement by dismantling the reigning NFC East champs inside Jerry’s World.

Alvin Kamara was the headliner, finding the end zone four times while Derek Carr proved for the second-straight week that the Saints’ offense is the “real deal.”

The Saints’ Week 1 victory over the Carolina Panthers, a 47-10 beat down, was impressive, but it was the Panthers so…you know.

I don’t think anyone saw them dismantling the Cowboys on the road coming in Week 2.

With a stat line of 11-of-16 for 243 yards, two touchdowns, and a 1-yard touchdown run, Derek Carr is leading the way for the Saints and their presumed high-powered offense that through the first two weeks of the season, scored on all 15 of their possessions.

Ideally, the Saints won’t have the same luck next week as the Philadelphia Eagles head to New Orleans in Week 3.

After capping off his rushing touchdown, Derek Carr surprised everyone by breaking out into a Michael Jackson impersonation.

He hit the moonwalk in the end zone, and social media ate it up because, well, people who

Fans loved the celebration, with videos going viral and plenty of praise for Carr’s unexpected dance moves.

But the NFL (and me) as usual, weren’t as entertained.

The league, known for being strict on celebrations, wasn’t too thrilled with the display and hit Carr with a fine for unsportsmanlike conduct and you know what? Good.

I hope the NFL fines Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints into oblivion all weekend long.

Something…anything needs to slow down that offense as the Philadelphia Eagles, The Liberty Line, and Phans of Philly roll into town tomorrow.

Derek Carr rightfully fined $14,000 for dancing in the endzone

The Philadelphia Eagles are heading to New Orleans – You can still join the party with TLL & Phans of Philly >>

Ah and for the scumbag Saint’s fans complaining about $14,000 being too hefty of a fine?

First why do you care in the first place? Derek Carr is making a shit ton of money and his dance moves stink. I would have told Roger to take Derek Carr’s yearly salary and suspend him for at least three games.

Hand up. I made a severe mistake earlier this week.

I wrote about Derek Carr breaking out the celly earlier in the week but at the time, I was still stuck on the Monday Night Football disaster-class from the Birds and wasn’t seeing red for the Saints in Week 3.

WATCH: Derek Carr broke out a Michael Jackson Celly as the Saints embarrassed the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2 >>

The truth, now that I’m operating in a state of clarity is that Carr’s dance moves were absolute shit and Michael Jackson is probably rolling over in his grave seeing them.

Maybe the NFL fined him because regardless of his play on the field, Derek Carr is a dork and his dance moves stink?

Let’s go with that.

The Liberty Line will be in NOLA with Phans of Philly – who has THOUSANDS of Eagles fans traveling next week to root in the Birds.

While the full packages aren’t available since trips are scheduled to depart from Philly on Thursday and Friday this week, if you’re heading down to New Orleans for the game, you can still join TLL and Phans of Philly for the tailgate on Sunday.

Tailgate packages are available on the Phans website, along with every other trip we’re taking this NFL season to root in the Birds on the road.
