Tyrese Maxey Bryce Young GF

Did Tyrese Maxey steal Bryce Young’s girl?

It goes without saying that it’s been a very rocky start to Bryce Young’s NFL career. Now it seems like Sixers guard Tyrese Maxey could be making matters worse for him (if that’s even possible). Just last week, Young hit a new low after the Carolina Panthers quarterback completed just 55.4% of his passes for a modest 245 yards and three interceptions over the first two weeks of the season.

The former No. 1 overall pick now finds himself riding the bench in Carolina in favor of veteran quarterback Andy Dalton >>

Canales explained that after watching the Week 2 game film, it became apparent a change was necessary. Young has looked out of sync, and the offense hasn’t been able to find its groove under his leadership so far.

Benching Bryce Young, even temporarily, could give him the reset he needs to get back on track. But now, I’m unsure if that will save Bryce Young’s career. His ex-girlfriend, Myra Gordon, was recently spotted with Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey at the Falcons-Eagles game on Monday night.

Naturally, the internet went wild, and rumors started swirling about how the breakup might be impacting Young’s on-field performance.

Tyrese Maxey with Myra Gordon (Bryce Young’s Ex) at Falcons-Eagles MNF:

While Young hasn’t commented on the situation, fans have been quick to connect the dots between his personal life and his recent struggles.

The only issue with the theory I have is the fact that Bryce Young has sucked for the past two seasons and is shaping up to be one of the biggest busts in NFL history. That’s not a Tyrese Maxey or ex-girlfriend problem. He’s just ass, unfortunately.

No offense to Myra Gordon, but I don’t think she’s high-profile enough to put a hex on athletes. If Bryce Young were dating Kendall Jenner, then I’d at least have some understanding. That’s a tale as old as time.

Talk about a come-up for Ms. Myra Gordon. Tyrese Maxey may have fallen to No. 21 overall in the NBA Draft, but he’s got more game than the No. 1 overall pick on the NFL side.

Not only is the talent disparity apparent, but Maxey has that extension money and an unextinguishable zest for life. He’s probably just as happy wifed up as he is riding solo, so even if things go south, I doubt his performance will take a nosedive.

Regardless, I wish these two everlasting love and happiness. And, if that doesn’t come to be, you know whose side I’m on. (It’s Tyrese Maxey, always).
