The NFL Discord server was a horrible mistake

This week, the NFL made a critical misstep by launching a Discord server for fans to share their thoughts on football. Unfortunately for the league, they didn’t consider that Discord is a meeting place for the most disgusting degenerates society has to offer.

Jesus Christ. Honestly, it’s so much worse in the thread, but as a god-fearing Christian, I didn’t want to post those in this article.

I don’t know how the NFL’s marketing team didn’t see this coming from the start. Like, seriously, did they think about this idea for longer than a second?

This is either a result of gross incompetence or someone at league headquarters pulled off one of the most outstanding troll jobs our generation has seen in a long time. If it’s the former, I can’t imagine how dumb the person who pitched the NFL Discord feels.

Hell, I can’t imagine how stupid the person who greenlit this feels, either. Either way, this might end up costing someone their job. I don’t think it should, but the league is a business at the end of the day.
