Injury Report: Eagles will be without AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith for Week 4 matchup vs. Tampa Bay
The hits keep coming for the Eagles’ receiving corps.
Star wideout A.J. Brown will be sidelined for his third consecutive game this Sunday, as confirmed by the team on Saturday afternoon. Brown hasn’t been able to shake off a nagging hamstring injury that has kept him off the field since Week 1.
It’s a tough blow for Philly, especially since Brown started the season on fire, racking up 119 yards and a touchdown on just five catches in the season opener vs. Green Bay. Now, he’s set to miss yet another game as the Eagles head to Tampa Bay.
The Eagles will also be without their other top receiver, DeVonta Smith, who’s out with a concussion. With Brown and Smith unavailable, Philly’s passing game will need all the help it can get. The team has elevated wide receivers Parris Campbell and John Ross from the practice squad, hoping they can step up and make an impact.
All eyes will be on how the Eagles adjust and who steps up in the absence of their stars.
LB Devin White has also been ruled out of Sunday’s matchup for personal reasons.
