Broadcast crew for Phillies NLDS games revealed
The National League Division Series begins this Saturday, and the Phillies are set to take on either the Mets or the Brewers (writing this during the 7th inning, will update). With the time slots already set, FOX has now released the broadcast crews for each series.
Both NLDS broadcast crews have been revealed, and it looks like the Phillies got the short end of the stick:
NLDS broadcaster assignments on FOX/FS1:
— Jimmy Traina (@JimmyTraina) October 3, 2024
Padres-Dodges: Joe Davis, John Smoltz
Mets/Brewers vs. Phillies: Adam Amin, AJ Pierzynski, Adam Wainwright https://t.co/Ka8aps4WhN
Honestly, I find these lineups disgusting. Joe Davis is literally the Dodgers play-by-play announcer.
Meanwhile, I despise Adam Wainwright. He should’ve hung up his cleats after the Phillies sent the Cardinals packing in the 2022 Wild Card instead of stinking it up in 2023 to pad his accumulation stats.
But whatever, it doesn’t matter. As the month progresses, we’ll be hearing Joe Davis call Phils games in the NLCS and, ideally, the World Series.
