Robert Kraft Timeout Against Hate

Problem Solved: Robert Kraft unites leagues on ‘#TimeOut Against Hate’ campaign in latest PR stunt

Great news everybody, hatred has been defeated. All thanks to New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who managed to roundup several prominent voices across every professional sports league for a photo-op of them all giving the timeout sign.

“In sports, we call a ‘timeout’ when things are heading in the wrong direction and right now, in our country, hate is winning, and we need to change the momentum,” said Robert Kraft, the Founder of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism.

“Bringing together the commissioners of North America’s major sports leagues for this campaign is a historic and crucial step in our fight against all hate. By uniting under a common cause, we amplify our message and demonstrate that the power of sports extends beyond stadiums, arenas and fields, and into our communities. This initiative is a call to action for everyone to join us in creating a world where hate is met with a unified stand for empathy, understanding, and respect.”

Before I go in on this, I want to be clear — being against hate is a good thing. Hate is not good, nobody likes hate, everyone should love each other. No one would argue that.

But this is just a PR stunt in an activist’s costume. This doesn’t actually achieve anything tangible, it just gives these millionaires (and in some cases billionaires) a reason to pat themselves on the back and say “I did enough.”

They all got pretty for a photo shoot, gave a journalist some ChatGPT generated answer on why hate is bad, and called it a day.

Besides, normal people don’t give a shit about what the rich and powerful have to say about societal issues. They don’t live the same life as the majority of Americans. Their experiences don’t compare to ours in the slightest.

Most people don’t even have time to think about hate because they’re too worried about how they’re going to pay next month’s rent. Robert Kraft‘s words mean nothing, literally nothing. You want to make a difference — run for public office. Don’t lecture people on hate and why it’s bad, go make a tangible difference.

None of these people will do that because that means they won’t be making seven to eight figures anymore.

Again, hate is obviously bad. I just wish these rich fucks actually did something constructive instead of whatever this is supposed to be.

Not to mention, timeouts aren’t permanent. Calling a timeout implies the game will resume in short order. Knocked it out of the park with the name here, Robert Kraft. Keep up the great work.
