Eagles’ Cooper DeJean became the first white cornerback to record a sack in over 20 years
Cooper DeJean got his first NFL start on Sunday and he didn’t disappoint.
He finished the day with an overall PFF grade of 70.7, while allowing just two receptions for 13 yards. Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio got pretty creative with how he used DeJean as well, sending him on multiple nickelback blitzes. He managed to get home on one of them, making him the first white corner to record a sack in over two decades.
