Flexed: Eagles vs. Bengals Week 8 matchup moved to new start time
The Philadelphia Eagles’ Week 8 road matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals will kick off at a new time.
The game, originally scheduled for a 4:25 PM Eastern start on CBS, has been moved up to a 1:00 PM kickoff.
This change occurred when the NFL opted to swap the Eagles vs. Bengals game with the Chicago Bears vs. Washington Commanders game. The NFL aims to showcase the top two picks of the 2024 NFL Draft, rookie quarterbacks Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels.
As a result of the adjustment, the Eagles will now play five consecutive 1:00 PM games, dating back to their Week 3 contest against the New Orleans Saints.
Last season, the Eagles had just three 1:00 PM starts over the entire season.
