Oh my goodness. The Cleveland Guardians just walked off the New York Yankees with an electric home run in extra innings. David Fry set the city of Cleveland on fire with one massive swing.

David Fry sealed Game 3 of the ALCS for the Guardians with a towering shot to beat the Yankees:

Cleveland went into this game trying to get their first win of the series and avoid a sweep. Not only did they do that tonight, but they completely stole the momentum from New York heading into Game 4.

This is the kind of moment that makes the video yearbook for a Cinderella team like Cleveland. They have the 25th-highest active payroll in the majors and are now only one win away from evening up the series against one of the richest teams in the history of sports.

Though I have to be honest, that wasn’t even the best home run of the night for Cleveland. Big Christmas put down probably the most violent swing I’ve seen on a big-moment homer in my life.
