Portal in Philly

Digital portal under construction in Philadelphia could destroy modern geopolitics as we know it

If you’re on social media, odds are you’ve seen the New York-Dublin portal that broadcasts a live feed between the two cities. You’ve also definitely seen the ridiculous shit that’s gone down on either side of the installation. If not, we covered it extensively here on The Liberty Line.

But now, signs indicate a new one is coming to Philly, and the evidence seems pretty clear.

One citizen journalist caught a glimpse of what appears to be a new portal under construction in the Fighting City of Philadelphia:

H/T @hubrussy on X

There are a few of these portals across the world at the moment. The official wesbite does not show Philadelphia as a location currently, but looking at the active models, it appears to be a perfect match.

Of course, this leaves me with more questions that answers. The New York-Ireland portal got so out of hand that it had to be shut down. What the hell do they think is going to happen in Philadelphia?

Imagine getting a live glimpse at Philadelphia after an Eagles playoff win. It’d be like if you were boots on the ground at Sodom and Gomorrah.

The other big question is, which city will be fortunate enough to be forever linked to the City of Brotherly Love? The Announcing Soon image on the site shows a portal between what appears to be China and London. Could be wrong, but my specialty in school was former Soviet countries in Europe, so cut me some slack.

But where does that leave Philadelphia? It remains to be seen, but it’s going to be crucial to select the right partner for this endeavor.

If you put the portal in the wrong city, it can easily lead to the degradation of the current geopolitical situation we find ourselves in. It won’t threaten American hegemony, at least I don’t think it will, but it could easily escalate tensions with a rival or, even worse, destroy the relationship with a close ally.

Now that I say that, this portal will end up in Tehran and nuclear missiles will be launched across the Atlantic in a matter of weeks. On the flip side, it could be the catalyst for Iran to return to the western-friendly state it once was.

I doubt it, but that’s the power of Philadelphia.

<<UPDATE: The Portal is confirmed >>

Mainstream news was late. TLL was all over this one. Sorry, Axios. Call it a scoop all you want, you’ll always be second best.

Very real and legitimate journalist. I don't see a loss on the schedule.
