Mailata sustained a hamstring injury during the early moments of the Week 6 win against the Browns. Head coach Nick Sirianni had mentioned earlier that Mailata would be out for “a couple of weeks.”
Fred Johnson is expected to step in as the replacement at left tackle.
Since 2020, Mailata has made 62 starts at left tackle for the Eagles, including all 17 games last season. Per PFF, he’s only given up one sack this season and is ranked first among all tackles in pass blocking.
