NFL Rumors: Star DE Maxx Crosby hints toward potential trade from Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders are no strangers to drama, and the first few weeks of this season have been no exception.
The biggest headline? The Raiders decided to trade All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams to the New York Jets, which sparked plenty of questions about the team’s future.
Sure, Adams was one of the most talented players on the roster, but his frustration was becoming a growing issue in the locker room and on the salary cap.
Even with him on the field, the Raiders’ offense struggled to find consistency. Now, with Adams out of the picture, offensive coordinator Luke Getsy faces new challenges as he tries to reshape the offense and find a groove without his star receiver.
For many, the decision to trade Adams looks like the Raiders are throwing in the towel on this season and gearing up for a rebuild. But if you ask star defensive end Maxx Crosby, he’s not about to let that narrative fly.
As one of the longest-tenured players on the team, and a guy who practically embodies what it means to wear the Silver and Black, Crosby made his stance clear: he’s not interested in a rebuild. He’s here to win, and win now.
“I’m not here to rebuild, I’m here to win,” Crosby said. “So, you know, I don’t know. Whatever that means, but yeah I’m here to win now. And wherever I’m gonna be, I’m gonna here to win. So that’s all that matters to me.”
Could Maxx Crosby be the next one out in Vegas?

The season got off to a rocky start when DE Malcolm Koonce went down with an injury just days before the opener. Since then, the injuries have piled up, and it’s been tough sledding for the Raiders through the first six weeks.
Add in some quarterback uncertainty, and it’s easy to see why things haven’t gone as planned.
But despite all the setbacks, Crosby’s outlook remains positive. His determination and commitment to the team serve as a reminder that the Raiders may not be as far from turning things around as it seems.
Looking ahead, the Raiders need a few key pieces, especially at quarterback, to get back in the mix. For now, all eyes are on Crosby and his future.
