Saquon Barkley didn’t just play well against the New York Giants, he embarrassed them and set an Eagles franchise record in the process.
Through 177 rushing yards today, Saquon Barkley has broken the Eagles record for the most rushing yards in the first six games of a season at 659, passing LeSean McCoy who had 630 in 2013
Barkley led the way for the Eagles offense, racking up 176 rushing yards and a touchdown. He had more highlight plays on Sunday than the Giants running backs have had all season.

Barkley wasn’t the only one. While Jalen Hurts had a relatively quiet game on Sunday against the Giants, throwing for just 114 yards on 14 attempts, the Eagles QB still managed to make history on the ground.
With his two rushing touchdowns against New York, Jalen Hurts passed Steve Young on the all-time rushing TD list for quarterbacks. With 44 total rushing touchdowns in his career, Hurts is now in third place on the all-time list.
