WATCH: Scumbag Yankees fans wrench foul ball from Mookie Betts’ glove during World Series Game 4

World Series Game 4 gave the sports world yet another reminder that Yankees fans are the most disgusting in baseball. Mookie Betts made a catch by reaching into the stands in foul territory, and a couple of complete morons grabbed his glove and wrenched the ball out in a completely ridiculous display.

These Yankees fans acted like toddlers stealing another kid’s choo-choo train at daycare:

I mean, you’ve got to be kidding me, right? I get it when fans get in the way of a foul ball being caught for an out in the stands, but grabbing Betts’ glove and forcing the ball out like that is ludicrous behavior.

I thought it was terrible when we saw a room full of thousands of Yankees fans cheer and flip off an injured Shohei Ohtani, but this is astronomically worse. I’m not one to clutch my pearls at fan behavior, but they genuinely could’ve injured Betts in that scrum.

I said it when the Phillies played the Mets, and I’ll say it again: New York fans, in general, are grotesque. Just look at those goombahs. They look like they were conceived, born, and raised in a sewer.

Yankees fans are the worst, though, because of their level of entitlement. We literally just saw it on display in this clip.

Of course, I wonder how the media would react if this happened in Philadelphia. The headlines write themselves…
