Inside the Eagles’ Identity: Nick Sirianni reveals what defines this team in powerful message to the team
For the past few weeks, Nick Sirianni has been hammering home one clear message: the Eagles are a physical football team, through and through. Sirianni emphasizes that physicality is a key trait he and GM Howie Roseman prioritize when scouting new talent. From the top down, it’s clear that being tough and relentless is what defines this roster.
Say what you want, but Nick Sirianni’s buzz cut might just be the ultimate reflection of this team’s grit and toughness. Since the head coach went for the shave, the Eagles have gone 3-0, posting a +49 point differential, zero turnovers, and allowing only two total touchdowns on defense. Coincidence? Maybe—but this squad’s physical edge seems sharper than ever.
As expected, the vibe around the Eagles—and in the media—has been electric lately. The team’s recent win streak, especially their dominant road victory over Joe Burrow and the Bengals, has fans and analysts buzzing. Adding to the excitement, a clip surfaced from Eagles “Unscripted” showing Nick Sirianni delivering what might be one of his best messages to the team yet. In my opinion, it’s a must-watch and captures the heart of this team’s mindset.

Love this saying he uses:
“Sometimes you, sometimes me, always us”
Good message for a team of star players

I’ve got to admit, Nick Sirianni is the guy for this team. His message is spot-on for a roster loaded with star talent. Say what you will about him, but it’s clear as day right now: Sirianni’s shift to a “CEO-style” head coach is showing he’s 100% a players’ coach—and there’s real value in that. Love him or hate him, Sirianni isn’t here to win popularity points; he’s here to be the coach this team needs. And honestly, what more can you ask for from your head coach?
The craziest part about all of this is, while there was clearly a point in time when a large portion of this fanbase wanted him fired, after four seasons as the Eagles head coach, he is now tied with Andy Reid with 39 wins. How’s that for analytics? How’s that for a head coach who doesn’t bring any value to the team? According to some people.
