Malpractice: Giannis could demand a trade from the Bucks, further proving Doc Rivers is a loser as Milwaukee falls to 1-4

After a 1-3 start to the 2024 NBA season, the Milwaukee Bucks look like an absolute dumpster fire and it’s very easy to point the blame at head coach Doc Rivers.

Rivers is a guy who seems to always have a coaching job just due to the one ring that he won with the Boston Celtics way back in 2008. On that note, imagine how nice it must have been to be handed a job because you coached a team with four hall-of-famers?

This guy continues to take no accountability for his team’s lackluster performances. We witnessed it in Philly and it’s unfolding in front of us right now with the Bucks. It will continue to get worse for Rivers in Milwaukee and he will almost certainly be the name in the headlines if/when Giannis packs his bags and leaves town.

Last season, the Bucks fired Adrian Griffin after leading them to a 30-13 record. Since Doc Rivers took over as head coach, he has a losing record with the same roster. Rivers holds a 20-23 record with the Milwaukee Bucks and last year in the playoffs, his team went 2-4 in a first round exit to the Indiana Pacers.

Point being: with a superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo paired with a supporting cast of Damian Lillard and Khris Middleton, the results are just unacceptable.

Giannis could end up forcing his way out of Milwaukee and teams like the Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets have already been linked to him. It’s safe to assume that both teams mentioned, along with any other team that has the money, have a real shot of landing him.

Giannis Trade Rumors:

My question is, when are we going to realize that Doc Rivers never was and never will be a winning head coach? It has got to come to a point where we realize Glenn Rivers is better off nowhere near an NBA court, right?

Here’s what Stephen A. Smith recently said about Doc Rivers future with the Bucks and coaching in the NBA:

“I don’t have the slightest clue,” Smith said of the Bucks’ shortcomings on ESPN. “Doc Rivers again, I’ve said this on many, many occasions. I’m a fan, I love the man, but if he doesn’t get it done this year, this could be it for him for his career as a head coach in the National Basketball Association.”

I mean, how many more times do I have to see a meme or picture of Doc Rivers hunched over courtside, looking distraught after his awful game planning and adjustments just do not work?

Doc Rivers’ recent playoff history includes:

Los Angeles Clippers: Rivers’ playoff record with the Clippers was 27-32 over seven seasons. In the bubble, the Clippers lost three straight games to the Nuggets after being up 3-1, making Rivers the first coach to lose three 3-1 leads in his career. He stepped down from the Clippers shortly after the loss.

Philadelphia 76ers: Rivers coached the 76ers for three years, leading them to a .653 winning percentage and a number one seed in the 2021 playoffs. In 2023, the 76ers won 54 games, the most since Allen Iverson led them to the Finals. Rivers was fired in May 2023 after the team had an early exit from the playoffs.

Milwaukee Bucks: Doc Rivers and the Bucks lost to the Indiana Pacers 4-2 in the first round of the playoffs last season.

So, where does Giannis go from here? My guess, is anywhere BUT Milwaukee.

Well, the superstar would certainly fit right into the Miami Heat culture, and can you imagine a pairing of playoff Jimmy and Giannis?

That would be a force to reckon with and would change the entire landscape of the league. As for the Nets, I really don’t see how Giannis and Ben Simmons share a court together but damn, would that be fun to watch unfold.

There is a shit storm brewing in Milwaukee, and I am not talking about Doc Rivers experiencing rectal dysfunction on the sideline.
