WATCH: Matvei Michkov nets disgusting OT winner to beat Senators 5-4
Matvei Michkov saved the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday night with an overtime winner against the Senators. The 19-year-old cemented himself as the youngest OT scorer in Flyers history.
Matvei Michkov ended the game with a tight-angle goal that sent Flyers fans soaring:

The game-winner is Michkov’s 13th point in 15 games, and the rookie continues to deliver as advertised. Clearly, he took his benching from Torts seriously, as he’s been producing since returning to the ice.
Now, let me be clear: I’m giving no credit to Torts for this. Matvei is a beast. He’s putting himself in position for the Calder, and if this production holds, I can’t see a way he doesn’t win it.
It’s safe to say Flyers fans love Matvei Michkov. Just look at this message I received from my consiglieri, the co-host of the hit podcast The Liberty Yell.
