Rat Behavior: Nick Nurse definitely leaked details of 76ers team meeting
Nick Nurse’s Philadelphia 76ers had a heated team meeting last night after yet another loss to fall to 2-11. Team meetings like this are usually kept completely private, but the details were leaked to ESPN and the media at large, which has left Sixers fans asking, “Who the hell leaked this?”
That is, until now.
An eagle-eyed Raptors fan noticed a thread leading back to none other than Nick Nurse, blowing the case wide open as far as I’m concerned:

The devil is always in the details, and the details in this instance point directly to Nurse as the mole/rat in this situation. Preferred nomenclature aside, it’s clear as day who the responsible party is.
In a way, it’s a genius move from Nick Nurse. You can’t get stuck with the blame if you’re the one controlling the narrative.
Sure, more information could come out now that the floodgates are open, and some of it could reflect poorly on Nurse, but that doesn’t really matter. The narrative has already been set. Like the saying goes, you only get one chance at a first impression, and the same goes for creating perception among fans and the media.
You may be wondering, “Does Nick Nurse actually have this level of deception in him?” The answer is, without a doubt, yes.
The same Raptors fan shared images of Nick Nurse with some of his favorite books. The standout text? The 48 Laws of Power, which is literally a how-to guide for gaining power and influence, oftentimes through unsavory or deceptive means.

If Nick Nurse is really the rat in the locker room, then it’s obvious he has been living the virtues of that book. Raptor Moments shared a few that are perfectly in line with this egregious betrayal, and I’ve compiled them below for your edification.
#14 Law of Power: Pose as a Friend, Work as a Spy
Gathering information is crucial in power dynamics. Posing as a friend helps you gain valuable insights without arousing suspicion. It’s not about betrayal, but about understanding the landscape in which you operate.
#17 Law of Power: Keep Others in Suspended Terror: Cultivate an Air of Unpredictability
Being predictable makes you vulnerable. Unpredictability, on the other hand, can keep your competitors or enemies uncertain, giving you an edge. This doesn’t mean you should be inconsistent; rather you should avoid revealing a pattern in your actions that others can easily figure out.
#26 Law of Power: Keep Your Hands Clean
You must maintain an unblemished appearance by avoiding blame and associating yourself with noble causes, even when you are required to engage in less noble actions. This involves skillfully shifting the blame onto others and taking credit for positive outcomes. It’s about managing perceptions to ensure your reputation remains untarnished.
I mean, come on. It could not be more obvious that Nick Nurse is the rat feeding Shams and these other reporters information. They’re all a part of a pack of disgusting rats. Sickening stuff, really.
