While the Philadelphia 76ers continue to crash and burn this season, Jared McCain has given fans a beacon of hope and his performance over the first 15 games of the season have been nothing short of incredible.

Jared McCain has averaged 25.2 points, 5.0 assists and 2.3 rebounds in 6 games as a starter this season. Over 16 games played this year he’s averaged 16.6 points, 2.8 assists, and 2.2 rebounds. 

The kid is a stud and while everything continues to crash and burn on the Philadelphia 76ers, McCain has proven to be the one shining moment of an otherwise miserable season of basketball here in Philly.

Look, I said it since draft night: if Jared McCain balls out, then literally no one would care about the TikTok dances anymore.

Jared McCain has met those expectations and has now shattered them with other professional sports leagues (and The Liberty Line) copying his TikTok dances every time he goes off in a game for the 76ers.

On top of that, arguably the biggest comedian in the entire world, Shane Gillis, is somewhere out there crushing Bud Lights and DMing McCain to say what’s up.

For whatever reason, McCain hasn’t gotten back to him yet, probably because his DM’s are filled with hundreds of thousands men and women trying to get a piece of him.

The Sixers will be shorthanded once again for their matchup against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday. Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Kyle Lowry are all officially ruled out, while Caleb Martin is listed as questionable.
