Josh Hart learned the hard way not to bring up sports betting on X today after posting “No one cares about yall parlays lol” despite posting about parlays a lot.

Few things here:
Hart technically isn’t wrong. Parlays are like someone’s fantasy football team. No one cares. There’s nothing worse than being in a group text and your one friend just keeps sending over parlays he created (alone) with updates like the entire thread was going to benefit from the prize money.
It must suck to be a professional sports athlete to constantly get DMs about parlays that they “just missed” for some random social media account. On top of that, whoever is DMing said athlete is a dork and is probably saying some wild shit that they would never say in public.
If you have Hart in any type of parlay (unless he’s playing the Philadelphia 76ers) then you’re an idiot, unless it’s the under on PTS-AST-REB which has been hovering around 31.5 (insane) all NBA season.

Now that we’re on the same page, here’s why Josh Hart got roasted for that post on X.
You simply cannot come out and say that to a bunch of people betting on sports while also having a history of, you guessed it, tweeting about parlays and doing advertisements for sports betting companies.
You also can’t come out and lack this much self-awareness that anyone, again outside of slamming the under, would ever bet on Josh Hart unless they have a serious, serious, problem.

Honestly, Josh Hart not caring about parlays is really the problem here. There wouldn’t be any issue unless he simply did his job and cashed in on the overs or what’s more likely, is play like ass and hit his unders night after night.
I think it’s safe to say that Josh Hart needs to be added to the parlay leg ban. There’s absolutely no way anyone can include him in anything moving forward.
